The band, who came to prominence with several key releases in the early 1990s, including the albums Nowhere and Going Blank Again, reunited in 2014 to tour Europe and North America.
Yesterday the group released ‘Home Is A Feeling’, followed quickly by ‘Charm Assault’ earlier today, both taken from a forthcoming new album scheduled for release in the middle of the year.
It is no mistake the new material is reminiscent of the early Ride sound, as for the album they have teamed with Mark Bowen and Dick Green of Wichita Recordings, both of whom they worked with during the early days of Creation Records. The sessions also saw the band reunite with mixer Alan Moulder, who worked on both of their first two albums.
Listen to both new songs below.
‘Home Is A Feeling’ by Ride is out now on Wichita Recordings via [PIAS] / Inertia Music and can be purchased here.
