Directed by Bob Gallagher, the music video captures the ugly truth behind the making of a children’s show and the actors inside the animal suits. Gallagher aimed to highlight the experience “of having to put on an outward expression and feeling trapped” through the visual extension of Paul’s costume.
Recorded after returning from their first ever US tour, ‘Holding Hands With Jamie’ is said to capture the tension and abrasive energy of a Girl Band performance better than ever before. The debut album will feature nine original tracks, seven of which were laid down in less than two days, ensuring the album is full of vitality and forward momentum.
Girl Band is set to share their energetic noise-rock, pulling influence from classic techno and their more obvious post-punk, noise and industrial predecessors.
