The self-titled effort, which is set for release on Friday December 13 (spooky) via OBE, LLC / Empire, sees guitarist José Rios, keyboardist Ron Avant, bassist Kelsey Gonzales and drummer/DJ Callum Connor link up with a wide range of collaborators to produce a record full of soulful, slinky tracks – perfect to heat up the incoming summer months.
In addition to previously released tracks featuring Mac Miller, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, JID, Kali Uchis and Chronixx, Free Nationals will also feature the likes of T.I., Anderson .Paak, Benny Sings and T. Nava, with the majoirty of collaborators being close friends of the group made over the span of their relentless touring with the .Paak man.
