The first single from the project is ‘It’s Time’ – a previously unreleased song by Melbourne alt-pop group Twerps, recorded during the creation of their 2015 album Range Anxiety. According to songwriter and ex-bassist Rick Milovanovic, ‘It’s Time’ was written back in 2013, when Tony ‘Party Like Its 1648’ Abbott was Prime Minister.

“The song was a reminder to him and his party that they would not be speaking on behalf of all straight Australians,” Milovanovic said in a statement. “Most importantly, it was also a message of support to the LGBTQI+ community that a lot of straight Australians would be right by their side in the fight for equality in this country.”

Thirty Days Of Yes has been made possible with the support of labels like 37 Adventures, Aarght Records, Barely Dressed, Chapter Music, Farmer & The Owl, Flightless, Future Classic, Good Manners, Inertia Music, Milk! Records, [PIAS], Remote Control Records, Rice Is Nice Records and Spunk Records – to name a few.
