The album, which has been self produced under the singer’s Jack Frost pseudonym, will be comprised of songs first recorded by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Etta James, Billie Holiday and others, and will be released on Friday March 31.
Triplicate follows the artist’s previous two releases of Sinatra related material, 2016’s Fallen Angels, and 2015’s Shadows in the Night.
Taking its cues from Dylan’s Theme Time Radio Hour satellite radio show, which ran from 2006-2009, the three discs will be thematically arranged and titled in ten song sequences. The titles include ‘Til The Sun Goes Down, Devil Dolls, and Comin’ Home Late, see the full track listing below.
Columbia have released the first taste of the new album, a countrified version of Sinatra’s ‘I Could Have Told You’. Have a listen below, as well as to the 1953 original.
