Go beyond pitch correction and vocoding with Minimal Audio's hypermodern vocal resynthesis plugin.
Minimal Audio has released Evoke, a vocal processing plugin that ditches the way of a traditional vocoder in favour of something more immediate. Evoke uses vocal modelling and spectral processing to resynthesize your voice into something entirely new. There’s no need for sidechain routing or filter banks – just drop it on your track and start shaping.

It differs from your standard pitch correction or vocoding effects by analysing your input signal and generating a completely new sound based on the original – rather than simply processing what’s already there. The result is a resynthesized output that maintains the expressive character of your voice, but opens up more room to experiment when it comes to leads, backing vocals and textural layers.
Evoke’s workflow is refreshingly straightforward. Load it onto your vocal track, set your key, and you’ll be immediately working with automatic pitch tracking, retuning and multi-voice harmonisation. Say goodbye to external routing and complex setups. With Evoke, you can get instant results that you can push even further with its modulation system – one that shares DNA with Minimal Audio’s Current and Rift plugins.
Beyond the core resynthesis engine, Evoke includes a flexible effects rack with eight swappable processors: multi-band compression, frequency shifting, reverb, distortion and more. You can stick with the presets or dive into the effects rack when you’re feeling a little more adventurous. Either way, the modular design won’t slow you down.
The plugin ships with 350 presets designed by expert sound designers, covering everything from subtle enhancement to bold character shifts tailored for electronic, R&B, pop and more. Evoke runs natively on Apple silicon and supports macOS 10.11 and higher, plus Windows 10 and higher in AAX, AU, VST2 and VST3 formats.
Evoke is available now from Minimal Audio.
