The iconic hollow-body archtop joins Heritage Guitars' Standard II lineup with new pickups and a refined aesthetic, all still built at the original Kalamazoo factory.

Few archtops carry the kind of reputation the Heritage H-575 has built over the years, and now the guitar is available through the brand’s Standard II Collection, making it a more accessible entry point into the world of American-made Heritage instruments.

Built in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Standard II Collection H-575 is a premium hollow-body archtop electric that carries the tone, feel and craftsmanship Heritage has become known for since 1985. Sitting alongside the brand’s Custom Shop Core Collection H-575 and H-717, it holds its own in distinguished company.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

The headline addition is the new Heritage Custom Shop 225 Standard Archtop Humbuckers, with unpotted pickups wound with 42 AWG poly wire, fitted with Alnico 2 magnets and finished with chrome covers. Specifically voiced for modern jazz, the design prioritises clarity and dynamic response, working with the H-575’s acoustic hollow-body resonance rather than against it. Jazz, bebop and blues players should feel right at home.

A revised headstock veneer sporting the Heritage logo gives the guitar a cleaner, more refined look, and the Standard C neck profile keeps things comfortable across the board, and articulate without being fussy. The body shape itself remains the signature hollow construction Heritage has refined over decades.

“Crafted at 225 Parsons Street” isn’t just a marketing line for Heritage, but a point of pride. The factory’s history stretches back well over a century, and the brand has been building there continuously since ’85, carrying on a guitar-making tradition that few American manufacturers can match.

For players who’ve had their eye on a Heritage archtop but wanted something that sits below the Custom Shop tier, the Standard II Collection H-575 is a logical place to start.

The Standard II Collection H-575 is available through heritageguitars.com and authorised Heritage dealers.
