On the label front, Gut Health are excited to share a global deal with AWAL Recordings, joining their formidable roster of acclaimed independent acts like Little Simz, Angie McMahon, Laufey, Genesis Owusu, Spacey Jane, Jungle and more.
“The first time I saw Gut Health, the venue was so packed I had no choice but to watch the sweat drip down the inside of the windows, from outside the pub,” recalls Matt Tanner, VP A&R at Concord. “Their live shows crackle with an energy that fills a room, and their collective creative spark is electric and the sum of their parts. Needless to say, we’re thrilled to be working with Gut Health.”
2024 marks an exciting chapter for the Melbourne group, who have had a stunning ascension since the release of their first EP, Electric Party Chrome Girl in 2022 – an EP recorded in a Brunswick shipping container that caught the attention of tastemakers worldwide.
