The two new lines deliver authentic tone and iconic style at prices that won't break emerging artists.

After 140-plus years of crafting guitars for legendary artists, Gretsch is doing something pretty smart with their iconic guitars and style: making them genuinely accessible. The Electromatic and Streamliner Jet aren’t watered-down versions trying to look the part. Instead, they’re delivering authentic Gretsch DNA at price points that actually work for those working within a budget.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

Electromatic Jet

Three models make up the Electromatic range: Club 1 Pickup, Club, and full Jet. All feature PureVolt Twin Six humbuckers that sound great whether you’re pushing them hard or playing clean – they cut through mixes without losing their character.

Club models use chambered mahogany bodies for a warm, woody tone. Step up to the full Electromatic Jet and you get a carved maple top that adds bright attack on top of mahogany’s sustain. Comfortable Performance “C” neck profiles work for fast playing or rhythm work.

Thanks to the Lockdown locking wraparound bridge, your tuning will stay solid. Bridge posts lock in place for maximum stability and trouble-free string changes, which is exactly what you need when you’re playing gigs on the regular.

Streamliner Jet

The four new Streamliner models pack HotWire high-output ceramic humbuckers that handle everything from crisp cleans to saturated rock and metal sounds.  You’ll get aggressive, punchy tones with exceptional clarity.

All Streamliners feature fast “C” neck profiles and Pitch-Perfect head angles for solid tuning stability, even during bending and vibrato. GraphTech NuBone nuts will keep your tuning consistent when you’re really digging in. The Club models come with mahogany bodies for classic warmth, while the full Streamliner Jet adds a carved mahogany top for even more sonic depth.

Gretsch hasn’t cut corners here – they’ve just cut the price tag. These are genuine guitars built for real playing, whether you’re at your desk, sitting on your bed or on a stage. That’s the whole story.

Streamliner models are available now, and the electromatic models are available for pre-order. See full specs at Grestch, or head to Fender for more information.
