Only 50 guitars will be produced in this exclusive run, each signed by the rock legend and available worldwide.

Gibson Custom has announced a limited-edition run of Dave Grohl’s DG-335 in Alpine White, with just 50 guitars available worldwide.

The 19-time GRAMMY winner and two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee has performed with an Alpine White version of his iconic DG-335 at Foo Fighters shows around the world since 2021. This new edition captures the same striking look and tone, finished in Alpine White gloss nitrocellulose lacquer.

A longtime Gibson user, Grohl’s previous signature guitars have remained extraordinarily popular and continue to command premium prices on the vintage market. With past DG-335 editions selling out rapidly, this limited run of just 50 guitars, each signed by Dave Grohl, is expected to disappear just as quickly.

Made in close collaboration with Grohl, the DG-335 blends elements of the ES-335 and Trini Lopez designs. The semi-hollow body features a three-ply maple/poplar/maple construction with bound diamond-shaped sound holes, single-ply cream binding, and a solid maple centre block to reduce feedback and enhance sustain.

The mahogany neck is carved to a standard Trini Lopez profile and paired with a bound Indian rosewood fretboard featuring 22 medium jumbo frets and split diamond inlays. A Firebird/Trini Lopez-style headstock with Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners ensures reliable performance, while the distinctive headstock shape adds visual impact.

Premium hardware includes a TonePros ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles and a locking TonePros Stop Bar tailpiece. Unpotted Custombuckers with aged Alnico 3 magnets deliver the guitar’s voice, wired with CTS potentiometers, paper-in-oil capacitors, and a Switchcraft three-way toggle. Gold Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors complete the setup.

Each Dave Grohl DG-335 arrives with a Gibson Custom hardshell case and features a soundhole label signed by Dave Grohl himself, adding collectability to an already limited release.

The announcement comes as Foo Fighters prepare to kick off their 2026 global stadium tour on 10th June in Oslo, Norway. It will be their first stadium tour since the massive 2023–2024 Everything or Nothing at All run, which sold out football and baseball fields around the world.
