Fender's new Godzilla Distortion pedal pairs exclusive kaiju artwork with Active Treble and Bass controls and a Distortion knob built to push your amp into destructive territory.
Fender has released the new pedal in collaboration with the iconic monster franchise, wrapping it in exclusive Godzilla artwork and packing it into a road-ready aluminium enclosure that’s built to handle whatever a touring rig can throw at it.

Visuals aside, the pedal keeps things simple with three controls: Distortion, Treble and Bass. Distortion takes you from mild saturation through to heavy, wall-of-sound gain. Active Treble and Bass controls cut or boost frequencies from the saturation directly, so you’re shaping the distortion character itself rather than just the output. Together they cover a lot of ground, from tight rhythmic chugging to lead tones that cut through a mix.
Its aluminium enclosure is designed to hold up night after night – a pretty important detail for a pedal that’ll be stomped on over and over.
Fender has form with licensed collaborations – the Godzilla pedal sits alongside previous artist and brand partnerships that lean into bold visual identity as much as performance. For fans of Godzilla and heavy tones, it’s a pretty easy sell.
The Godzilla Distortion is available now through Fender’s Australian stockists and at au.fender.com.
