Serving as an updated take on 2016’s Elite range, the American Ultra Luxe series is comprised of an assortment of Telecaster and Stratocaster models, taking the classic guitars further into the future than ever before.
The range kicks off with the Fender American Ultra Luxe Stratocaster, which features a sculpted ash body and augmented D-profile neck with rolled fretboard edges, while a 10″-14″ compound radius fretboard and 22 stainless steel frets helps to put the cherry on top.
Other features include eye-catching painted headstocks and Ultra Noiseless Vintage pickups, as well as a two-point tremolo and bone nut, with finish options including Two-Tone Sunburst and Plasma Red Burst.
There’s also the American Ultra Luxe HSS Stratocaster, which features similar specs to the above model and swaps out the pickups for Ultra Noiseless Hots and an Ultra Double Tap in the bridge position, while an original Floyd Rose tremolo system is also included in the equation.
This shred machine can be picked up in either Silverburst or Mystic Black finishes, with the former featuring a maple fretboard and the latter being adorned with rosewood.
For those who prefer to rock a single-cut, the American Ultra Luxe Telecaster offers a sophisticated take on Fender’s first-ever solid body, combining a sculpted ash body with a slick augmented D-shape maple neck with a satin finish.
Like the Stratocasters in the American Ultra Luxe range, this Tele also features rolled fretboard edges and stainless steel frets, plus a compound fretboard radius, tapered neck heel, matching headstock and locking tuners.
Fender’s S1 switching system is also integrated into the Ultra Noiseless Vintage pickups to tap into a myriad of tones, with finish options including Two-Tone Sunburst with a maple fretboard and Transparent Surf Green, which features a rosewood fretboard and tortoiseshell pickguard.
Finally, the American Ultra Luxe range also plates up an incredibly unique offering in the form of the American Ultra Luxe Telecaster Floyd Rose HH, which shares similar specs to the aforementioned Tele bar the addition of some high-octane appointments.
The guitar swaps out the single-coils for a pair of Fender Custom Double Tap humbuckers, while an original Floyd Rose Tremolo is also included for all your ’80s dive-bomb antics.
