Fender has expanded its popular Vintera II lineup with four new Road Worn models that capture the look and feel of well-played vintage instruments from the '50s and '60s. The Limited Edition series includes a '60s Stratocaster, '60s Telecaster, '50s Jazzmaster, and '60s Precision Bass.
Each guitar in the Fender Road Worn series features their new aging process that creates light checking, gentle wear patterns and a semi-gloss nitrocellulose finish. The result mimics decades of playing without the decades of waiting (and the less desirable parts of a worn guitar). The vintage aesthetic with classic colours Fiesta Red, Blonde, Sonic Blue and Burgundy Mist Metallic.

Beyond the look, Fender is staying true to each era by recreating their favourite pickups to deliver period-correct tones. The ’60s Strat uses three vintage-style single-coils for warm, sparkling sounds, while the ’60s Tele’s pickup pair delivers the crystal-clear chime and the steely twang it’s known for. The ’50s Jazzmaster features single-coils tuned for sweet, woody warmth and the Precision Bass uses a split-coil pickup for the powerful, dynamic tone that has defined countless recordings.
Every model in the series features decade-appropriate “C”-shaped maple necks with 7.25″ radius fingerboards and vintage-tall frets. The hardware stays true to the originals as well—the Strat and Jazzmaster include period-correct tremolo systems, the Tele uses a vintage 3-saddle bridge and the bass includes a 4-saddle setup for improved intonation.
