Epiphone has given the Green Day frontman’s Billie Joe Armstrong signature Les Paul Junior a new coat of paint. The signature model now comes in Radiant Red, landing in Australia through Australis Music Group in late August as a limited run rather than a permanent colour.

The Les Paul Junior has always been a stripped-back guitar, and this one keeps to that, with a single pickup and just two controls for volume and tone. Since there’s no pickup selector to think about and not much to get in the way, it suits players who prefer to plug in and play – a part of why the model has stuck with punk players. With a Radiant Red finish, the model has a brighter, more eye-catching look. The rest of the guitar stays as Armstrong’s regular signature spec, aligned with his straightforward, high-volume approach.
Each guitar ships in a black custom hardshell case with a leopard-print interior, so you’re brand new, bright red Les Paul Junior will be safe and sound at every and any gig.
