The EHX POG changed the way we treat octave effects, its accurate tracking providing a seamless way to introduce as much or as little octave up and down as you like into your playing. While the larger format pedals proved a nightmare for pedalboard, EHX progressively released smaller version in the Micro Pog, before the Nano took the cake, fitting all that processing into a fairly standard size pedal. Not content with that though, EHX have announced the EHX Pico POG, a pedal about not much bigger than a 9V battery.

The Pico packs POG’s Polyphonic Octave Generator effect into its smallest footprint yet, featuring four controls: Sub Octave (down), Octave Up, Dry (a wet/dry blend for your unaffected input vs. the effected, wet sound) and a Tone control to help balance it all out. There’s also three filter modes set by punching the ‘Filter’ switch to toggle between them.
‘Tone’ filter mode enables the Tone control to act as a Tilt-EQ, meaning it rolls off high end as you dial in more low end (counter-clockwise) and more high and less low as you rotate it clockwise. Low Pass Filter Mode and High Pass Filter Mode cut highs and lows respectively from the effected signal (leaving your Dry unaffected) as you rotate the control clockwise.
