Tracktion has released LOVE 2, the follow-up to Dawesome's acclaimed audio plugin, bringing a musically tuned granular engine and a modular effects system designed to transform any sound into something rich, evolving, and alive.
Developed by Dawesome and distributed through Tracktion, LOVE 2 is the follow-up to the original LOVE plugin. It carries the same core idea of LOVE forward: take any sound and make it shimmer, bloom, and unfold in ways that feel musical rather than processed. The engine behind it is a granular texture generator, tuned specifically for musicality rather than pure experimentation, which means you’re less likely to end up in abstract noise territory and more likely to land somewhere genuinely useful.

What sets LOVE 2 apart from a standard granular tool is its modular effects architecture. Six freely assignable slots can be filled from a curated library of more than 20 effects, each with its own dry/wet control and dedicated sub-presets. Drag-and-drop signal flow means you can rearrange the chain without breaking your train of thought. The result is a plugin that rewards exploration without punishing you for not reading the manual first.
When you are in love, everything feels more intense, more alive, more beautiful, and this is exactly what LOVE 2 does to sound. Flat, lifeless sounds pick up movement and texture, simple tones gain harmonic nuance, a solo vocal can bloom into something choir-like, and static synth patches can evolve into slowly shifting, luminous landscapes. The plugin ships with more than 250 presets, intelligent randomisation with module lock, and full support for VST3, AU, and AAX formats across both macOS and Windows.
