The new plugin from mathematician and AI veteran Peter V (aka Dawesome) and the renowned techno producer Björn Torwellen splits up sounds visually into three sections: transient, body, and tail.
Users are able to shape and edit each area individually without affecting the others, with fine tone-shaping readily available.
The built-in filter has been designed specifically for the task at hand, featuring an extremely fast reaction time to avoid introducing any artefacts, even with rapid changes to cutoff or resonance controls.
“We’ve all been there: you browse through hundreds of kicks, but nothing really works,” Tracktion said.
“One has a nice transient, another one a cool punch in the face and the third has the perfect boomy tail. But once you layer them the result is a weak muddy mess: layering kicks is rarely successful to maintain the crisp transient, the punch of the body, and the characteristic tail.”
