What is it?
MiniLab 3 is a 25-note velocity-sensitive MIDI controller, designed for both beginners and experienced producers. It’s built to fit seamlessly into any setup, from bedroom studios to portable rigs, with a compact, lightweight design that doesn’t skimp on functionality. USB-C and 5-pin DIN MIDI connectivity means it’ll work with your computer, external gear, and all major DAWs right out of the box.
Key features
At the centre, the MiniLab 3 features a 25-note keyboard with 16 velocity and pressure-sensitive RGB pads split into two banks of eight. Eight rotary encoders and four sliders let you shape your sound, while a mini display and clickable browsing knob provide real-time feedback.
Creative tools include a built-in arpeggiator, Hold and Chord modes, and smart transposition. Octave buttons expand your keyboard range without adding bulk. Capacitive touch sensors handle pitch bend and modulation, and there’s a pedal input for sustain, expression or footswitch. Custom DAW mappings work with major DAWs, and you can browse Arturia sounds and presets directly on the hardware.
What’s in the box
The MiniLab3 comes with a complete production-ready software bundle alongside the hardware. Ableton Live Lite handles your DAW, Analog Lab V opens up 500 curated sounds, and UVI Model D grand piano adds premium piano tones. Choose from one of three Native Instruments Komplete Select bundles depending on your style, plus Loopcloud gives you two months of royalty-free samples and loops. Melodics throws in unlimited trial access to help you learn keyboard, finger drumming, music theory and DAW production.
