Starting with the interface, you can customise Pigments’ appearance to suit your style and your flow, while it’s also easier to navigate than ever for intuitive exploration.
Play mode allows you to take a step back and enjoy a simplified overview of your entire sound, with stripped-back modules and hands-on macros. If you prefer working with brighter interfaces with more contrast, opt for a less nocturnal vibe and enjoy a sleek off-white redesign.
The biggest upgrades to Pigments’ fluidity lies in the sound design workflow with quick modulation editing, quicker feature navigation, six LFO presets, FX and seq bypass, and new sync modes.
Pigments is also now compatible with ODDSound’s microtuning software MTS-ESP, designed in conjunction with Aphex Twin, and enhanced engines allow users to take Pigments’ multi-engine voice further with additional creative features.
Furthermore, Pigments 4 is littered with a new sonic library, including 63 new wavetables, 67 new samples, 36 new noise types, and sound banks that each include 150 presets.
