Stem separation and Splice integration
Producers using Live 12 Suite or Push Standalone can now split vocals, drums, bass and other elements directly from any audio clip thanks to Music.AI’s cutting-edge algorithms. It’s a huge step for remixers and DJs alike. On top of that, Splice users can now browse, filter and audition the platform’s samples directly in Live’s Browser. Everything stays in sync and in key, and the new Search with Sound feature even helps you instantly find samples that match your project’s vibe.
New workflows and creative tools
Following Live 12.2’s Bounce to New Track, the latest update adds Bounce Groups and Paste Bounced Audio—perfect for locking in ideas quickly. Devices like Auto Pan-Tremolo get a slick new UI with expanded modulation controls, while the new Generators Pack introduces Sting for acid basslines and Patterns for percussive rhythms.
What’s new for Push 3
Push users aren’t left out either. A new XYZ pad layout brings expressive, gestural control to racks and devices, while Rhythm Generator and touch-sensitive step editing streamline beat-making and note editing. Plus, Push Standalone now supports class-compliant audio interfaces, opening the door to expanded I/O and more flexible live setups.
Live 12.3 is available now in public beta. Once testing wraps, the update will roll out free to all Live 12 owners.
