Arturia has released firmware version 1.5 for the KeyLab mk3, bringing MainStage integration, improved Analog Lab browsing and a refreshed on-screen interface to the 49, 61 and 88-key models.

Firmware updates don’t always move the needle, but Arturia’s 1.5 update for the KeyLab mk3 adds a handful of improvements that will make a real difference in the right context — particularly for anyone using it live with MainStage.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

The headline addition is MainStage integration, which lets you view patch information directly on the controller, browse with confidence and control essential MainStage features while you play. For live performers who rely on MainStage for show-to-show patch management, having that information available from the keys rather than having to glance at a laptop screen is a practical upgrade that keeps your focus where it should be.

Analog Lab navigation has also been refined. Browsing sounds from the controller itself is now smoother and more intuitive, with updated visual icons that make sound selection faster and easier to read at a glance. It’s the kind of refinement that sounds minor until you’ve spent time scrolling through presets mid-session and wished things moved a little quicker.

The on-screen interface has had a general refresh too, with updated GUI elements that improve readability during navigation. A new split visualisation has also been added, making it easier to see keyboard separation when setting up split parts and performance configurations — useful for anyone running multiple sounds across the keyboard simultaneously.

What’s new in KeyLab mk3 firmware 1.5

  • MainStage integration: view patch information on the controller, browse sounds and control essential MainStage features without leaving your keys
  • Improved Analog Lab navigation: smoother, more intuitive browsing from the controller with updated visual icons for faster sound selection
  • Refreshed GUI: updated on-screen elements for clearer, more readable on-device navigation
  • Split visualisation: a new visual display makes keyboard separation easier when building split parts and performance setups

The 1.5 update is available now for all current KeyLab mk3 models: the KeyLab 88 mk3, KeyLab 61 mk3 and KeyLab 49 mk3, each in White and Black. Updating is free and straightforward — simply install the latest version of Analog Lab, connect your KeyLab mk3, launch Analog Lab, hit the settings button in the top right corner and click Update.
