The interface is available in two configurations, both equipped with the highly anticipated Thunderbolt 3 Option Card. This marks a significant update for the Symphony MKII platform, bringing modern connectivity to Apogee’s flagship interface whilst maintaining the pristine conversion quality the company built its reputation on.
Each limited edition unit includes some thoughtful touches that collectors and professionals alike will appreciate. Inside the box, you’ll find a hard-bound anniversary book documenting Apogee’s journey through four decades of audio innovation. The interface itself features an all-purple faceplate with a special commemorative badge – a distinctive look that sets these units apart from standard production models.
Perhaps most notably, the front panel of each unit is personally signed by Betty Bennet and Bob Clearmountain, two figures synonymous with professional audio excellence. Clearmountain’s engineering and mixing credits read like a who’s who of modern music, making his signature particularly meaningful for engineers and producers.
Since 1985, Apogee has been at the forefront of digital audio conversion technology. With only 100 of these anniversary editions being produced, they’re likely to disappear quickly once they hit authorised dealers.
