ADDAC219 In and Out modules are just 3HP wide, designed to reduce bulky 1/4 cables, while converting line / synth levels.
ADDAC System announces two very small – but extremely useful – new Eurorack modules: the ADDAC219IN and ADDAC219OUT. Just 3HP wide, each module makes it easier to bring external studio gear into the modular realm, and back out – while handling line / synth level conversion duties.

Inside the ADDAC219IN
Firstly, the ADDAC219IN is a very useful module in that it was designed to replace bulky 1/4 inch jacks when plugging external stereo gear into the modular realm. Accepting a 3.5mm TRS stereo jack input, the module then splits the TRS stereo signal into two mono outputs (Left + Right), while also converting the line input to synth (modular) level.
There are two independent sections at the input stage, which allows for two different stereo sources to be connected.
Output stage and the ADDAC219OUT
Covering the output stage, and opposite of the 219IN, the ADDAC219OUT was also designed to replace bulky 1/4 inch cables when sending external stereo gear out of modular realm. This module merges two TS mono signals (Left + Right) into a TRS stereo output, while also converting synth level (modular level) inputs to line level – making it a very useful utility indeed.
Just as the input module, there are three independent sections allowing for three stereo sources to be connected.
