Forever a band looking to reach new compositional heights, the experimental four-piece have in recent times worked as composers, producing soundtracks for Lone Survivor, Manglehorn, Prince Avalanche, and Friday Night Lights.
Their return to single song structures, highlighted by epic jams and stirring reprieves, has resulted in a consciously progressive album, one that will reacquaint fans with their musical brilliance.
The release also features long-time collaborator John Congleton in a co-producing role for the first time, reflective of the band’s intent to evolve, even at this stage of their career.
