The new Gold monitors resemble the aesthetic design of their forebearers and add in a wide range of premium modern appointments, including Dual Concentric drivers, titanium tweeters with Tulip waveguides for accurate stereo imaging, controls for input trim, bass and treble as well as dual Class AB transducer-matched amplification. There’s also front firing bass ports and a totally neutral sound reproduction, making them suitable for rooms of varying sizes and applications.
Elsewhere, the Tannoy Gold monitors feature XLR and TRS inputs, AUX inputs, L/R speaker position switches and a Bass Adjust switch to roll off up to -4dB of the low frequency range. There’s also three driver sizes to choose from, with 5″, 6.5″ and 8″ monitors offering a range of possibilities for different users.
