Meet Daydream Nation, the new dream team of Aussie music PR & Marketing

Based in Melbourne, Daydream Nation is set to specialise in music, entertainment, digital strategy, crisis management and other fields, and is operated by some of the most respected names in the Aussie music industry.

With more than 21 years of experience working in PR, Daydream Nation’s Director Stacey Piggott needs no introduction, having previously led her own agency Two Fish Out Of Water before merging with Secret Sounds in 2014. She’ll be joined by former Secret Service PR colleagues Alycia Emmerson, Shari Hindmarsh and Parrise Toledo, who will assume the roles of Head of Marketing, Senior Account Director and Publicist respectively.

As a collective, Daydream Nation have been a pivotal force behind some of the country’s best PR and marketing campaigns, including the likes of Falls Music & Arts Festival, Yours & Owls, Download, Strawberry Fields, Southbound, All Tomorrow’s Parties and more. They’ve also developed campaigns for the likes of Live Nation, Frontier, WME, Village Sounds and even huge brands like Telstra, Jack Daniels, Pandora and Billabong. In short – they’re the Avengers of Australian PR.

In a statement released today, Stacey Piggott celebrated the new venture and the work ethics of her colleagues, saying “We are really excited to bring Daydream Nation and our collective creative services to the entertainment industry. We are thrilled to be able to offer a team that can roll out comprehensive and cohesive PR and Marketing campaigns under the one roof for our clients.

“Alycia, Shari and I have been working closely together on campaigns for years now, so close we sometimes finish each other’s sentences, we know what the other is thinking before they speak! And Parisse fits perfectly into this well-oiled machine.”
