British singer-songwriter James Blunt will be returning down under next year for a pair of headlines shows and a headline appearance on The Day On The Green festival lineup.
WIth a massive catalogue of hits including 'You’re Beautiful', 'Goodbye My Lover', 'Carry You Home', 'No Bravery', '1973' and 'Wisemen', Blunt is currently on tour in North America with Ed Sheeran. The chart-topping performer released his fifth studio album The Afterlove earlier this year via Atlantic Records. Earning a place on the ARIA Top 10 chart, The Afterlove features appearences from Sheeran, Ryan Tedder and Stephan Moccio (Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd).
Including an All Ages appearence in Melbourne, Blunt will be joined by Aussie country singer / songwriter Morgan Evans. Winner of five Country Music Channel Awards and 2016’s CMA Global Artist of the Year, Evans has supported the likes of Alan Jackson, Taylor Swift and the Dixie Chicks.
“Australia has always been the most fun part of every world tour I’ve ever done, and the fans at the shows have always given me the warmest of welcomes,” Blunt says of the upcoming events. “I can’t wait to get back.”
