Elton John’s Once In a Lifetime tour has been all over the Australian music news since the veteran performer announced its highly unusual details earlier in the week. The tour, comprised of four dates, will take in places not normally visited by large international stars, including Cairns, Mackay, Wollongong and, it was revealed today, Hobart.
While John has never before played in the first three cities, this most recent announcement will see him return to the Tasmanian capital after a long absence.
“I played in Hobart twenty seven years ago, which I admit is far too long,” said Johns in a press release. “I simply cannot wait to return to Tasmania and its wonderful audiences. My band and I are really looking forward to being in Australia this September – I love coming back.”

Friday September 22 – BB Print Stadium, Mackay, QLD
