Gold Coast's Best Night Ever mini-festival has completed its 2018 lineup, announcing Sydney punks DZ Deathrays, Newcastle party-hounds RAAVE Tapes and self described vibe punks WAAX to join headliners Dune Rats this December.
After selling out the inaugral 2017 event, Best Night Ever has decided to up the ante with a lineup almost too big for the mini-festival tag, boasting a whopping seven acts on the night.
Dune Rats look set to unleash a monster homecoming Queensland set before they head back to the studio to work on new material, with rumours suggesting some new music could be debuted at the show. DZ Deathrays will bring their blistering 2018 album Bloody Lovely to stage, while WAAX are promoting new single 'Labrador'. RAAVE Tapes join fellow Novocastrians (someone from Newcastle, learn it before you go) Gooch Palms with the glitzy party vibe.
All ages punters are in luck, as all you need to get in is a friendly guardian over the age of 25 with free public transport to and from the event to boot. Get in quick if you want to top the year off with a bout of garage punk – final release tickets are on sale now and are running out the door quick.
It all goes down on Saturday December 29 at the Nightquarter, Goldcoast. Tickets available via Oztix.
