ARIA Awards announce artist performances for 2019

Celebrating the Best of Australian Music

We’re only a few weeks out from the 2019 ARIA Awards and the music industry showcase has just revealed which Aussie artists will be taking to the stage.

Expect to hear performances from Amy Shark, Courtney Barnett, Keith Urban, Kasey Chambers and Dean Lewis when the nation’s music heavyweights unite to celebrate another stellar year for Australian music.

The newly announced acts will join international pop star Rita Ora and Australia’s own 5 Seconds of Summer at The Star in Sydney later this month. For those residing elsewhere around the country, you’ll be able to tune in via Channel Nine to ensure you don’t miss a thing.

This year’s nominations see Amy Shark leading the way with a whopping nine nods, closely followed by Courtney Barnett, Gurrumul, Pnau, Tash Sultana, and Dean Lewis. The Apple Music Album of the Year award – the big one – is shaping up to be a tight contest, featuring nominations for Shark, Barnett, Gurrumul, Pnau and Troye Sivan.

It all goes down on Wednesday November 28. For a list of all nominees, visit the ARIA website.
