The virtual tour, which you can access here, allows fans to take a stroll through the insane lot, which features iconic guitars such as Gilmour’s Black Strat, his 00001 serial Stratocaster, the Gibson Les Paul used to play the guitar solo on ‘Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2’ and many, many more. All proceeds from the auction are also set to be donated to a charity of Gilmour’s choice.
For guitar nerds, it’s an absolute dream, and while it’s definitely not as good as the real thing, it’s definitely a good excuse to wipe ten minutes off the clock at work.
The David Gilmour Guitar Collection is set to go to auction this Thursday via Christie’s Auction House in New York.
