Slipknot have hinted at plans to make a concept album and a movie to run alongside it for their next release.
Speaking to Albany's Q103 Radio, frontman Corey Taylor revealed that he'd approached other members of the band about making the follow up to their 2014 release .5 The Gray Chapter their a concept album.
"I told them the other day, ‘Let’s take it even further. Let’s make our Purple Rain, let’s make our The Wall. With a movie – not just the album, but do a movie.’ They were pretty into it.” Said Taylor.
He did add that it wasn't likely that this would be happening any time soon, suggesting that once the band's extensive touring schedule wraps up that they'll be taking a well deserved break. Listen to the interview in full below.
