Seminal riot grrrl powerhouses Sleater-Kinney have offered fans a glimpse of their forthcoming record The Center Won't Hold with the release of lead single 'Hurry On Home,' as well as announcing an Australian deal with Milk! Records.
Produced by none other than Annie Clark (AKA St. Vincent), 'Hurry On Home' sees Sleater-Kinney expand beyond their typically punky parameters to create a surging, sonically layered track unlike any heard in their catalogue. Given that it's the first time we've heard new music from the trio in more than four years, 'Hurry On Home' is certainly a welcome return for the group, and we're incredibly stoked to hear more.
Sleater-Kinney have also announced that they've also signed an Australian/New Zealand record deal with none other than Milk! Records, which really is a match made in heaven. Although there's no release date penciled in for the Annie Clark-produced The Center Won't Hold just yet, you can listen to 'Hurry On Home' right now via the above lyric video - we highly recommend that you do.
Head to Milk! Records to preorder a 7" of Sleater-Kinney's 'Hurry On Home' and find out more about the signing.
