Designer/Visual Creator – Byron Bay Bluesfest (NSW)

Byron Bay Bluesfest is Australia’s most awarded music festival ever. Taking place annually, the five-day music festival is held over the Easter long weekend in Byron Bay. Bluesfest Touring Pty Ltd engages international and local artists such as Patti Smith, Robert Plant and Iggy Pop to perform at Bluesfest and on tour at venues in Australia and New Zealand. We are looking for a creative, energetic and motivated individual that has a passion for creating engaging content for online marketing channels along with an interest in the music industry.

Skills Required:

  • Experience of using social media platforms (Facebook Business Manager, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Create Suite (Bridge, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) & Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and other relevant editing software
  • Experience producing ads for print and online media outlets
  • Animation/motion graphic skills
  • Ability to manage and successfully execute multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Possess strong communication skills including the ability to relate to different audiences
  • Strong Microsoft Office and knowledge of social media advertising
  • A good understanding of HTML is a bonus
  • A love for music and the live entertainment industry

Tasks Include:

  • Support marketing teams in graphic design and video editing of supplied video content

  • Oversee and be responsible for all tour offers and budgets
  • Work with LNA VIP Team to create VIP and ancillary opportunities
  • Work with LN Venues to develop or drive content into their venues
  • Negotiation of commercial arrangements with venues and marketing partners as appropriate
