Jenny Lee Lindberg, bassist for Indie Rock band Warpaint, has announced her first ever solo album right on! under her new title jennylee. Whilst retaining Warpaint’s groovy vibe, the ten track album incorporates elements of New Wave and Grunge. Thus, the album marks an exciting beginning to jennylee’s musical development.
To celebrate the announcement of right on!, jennylee has shared an album teaser trailer which will showcase three tracks from the upcoming record; ‘never’, ‘boom boom’ and ‘he fresh’. The album boasts the collaborative assistance of a lot of talent, namely, Norm Block, Dan Elkan and Warpaint’s vocalist Stella Mozgawa.
righton! will be released on Friday, December 11 via Rough Trade Records/Remote Control Records.
