The Meteora features an unusual design aptly described by Fender as an “arresting aesthetic”, with a limited-edition offset body shape made of ash with a lacquer finish. It boasts an American Vintage “mid-‘60s C-shaped” Jazzmaster neck, 9.5”-radius fingerboard, and a pair of custom Tele shop pickups.
Elsewhere, you’ll find an American Professional Tele bridge with compensated brass saddles, a micro-tilt neck plate, and a maple neck with block inlays.
The Meteora is the latest addition to Fender’s Parallel Universe series, which saw other limited edition designs such as the Troublemaker Tele roll out this year following the series announcement at NAMM.
