Fender have ventured further and further into an Alternate Reality with the release of the Meteora HH, an update on last year's model which sees the addition of dual humbuckers and a string-thru bridge.
While Fender's last iteration of the Meteora included Telecaster-styled pickups and a '70s inspired maple neck with block inlays, the 2019 Meteora HH provides guitarists with a rock-steady, reliable solution to gigging with dual Player humbuckers and a pau ferro fretboard.
The humbuckers can be toggled via the Meteora's two volume controls and a push/pull knob to split the coils. Elsewhere, the Meteora features an alder body, a Modern-C neck profile and an Adjust-o-matic string-thru bridge. Check out how it sounds below.
The Meteora HH is available in three finishes: Lake Placid Blue, Surf Green and Candy Apple Red, and can be purchased now.
