Dave Grohl is set to step in as guest host of Jimmy Kimmel Live tomorrow night in his second appearance as a late-night talk show host.
Grohl will act as one of many replacements for Kimmel lined up over the next week – including Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, and Shaquille O’Neal – as Kimmel takes time off the show to be with his son, who is preparing for a second heart surgery related to an ongoing medical issue.
Kristen Bell and Alice Cooper are confirmed as guests the same night Grohl will feature on hosting duties, generating much hopeful speculation that Foo Fighters frontman Grohl will join in with Cooper’s performance planned for the episode.
Grohl isn’t new to late-night talk show hosting, bringing his experience in 2013 on Chelsea Lately when filling in for Chelsea Handler as host for a whole week to his temporary role on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Foo Fighters will tour Australian and New Zealand in January and February 2018 thanks to Frontier Touring. We caught up with bassist Nate Mendel last month to discuss the band's ninth album, Concrete and Gold.
