Daft Punk’s Original TR909 Is Up For Sale

Don't Miss Your Chance to Own a Piece of Dance Music History

Thomas Bangalter, one half of the robotic dance duo Daft Punk, has recently listed his original Roland TR-909 drum machine for sale online.

Listed last week via the Facebook page Vintage and Analogue Occasion, the iconic drum machine received heavy use by Bangalter throughout the recording of 1997’s Homework, and retains the original drum sequence presets from that album's 'Revolution 909'.

In a statement regarding the sale, Vintage and Analogue Occasion noted the iconic status of Bangalter’s 909, revealing their intentions to auction the drum machine to the highest offering bidder for a presumably hefty sum. You can watch a video of Bangalter's 'Revolution 909' preset in action on his original TR909 below.
