GOMA Turns 10 Summer Festival will be celebrating the gallery’s 10th birthday, and will feature some of the city’s best acts, such as Regurgitator, The Goon Sax, I Heart Hiroshima, Cub Sport and Emily Wurramurra. The event is both free and aimed at audiences of all ages, with several kids performances also on the program from the likes of Ben Ely (Regurgitator) and The Grates.

Besides music there will also be screenings of animated films, tours of the gallery and crash courses on contemporary art. There will also be artistic workshops from artists such as Gordon Hookey and author Morris Gleitzman, as well as a dance performance of American artist Nick Cave’s spectacular HEARD.

GOMA Turns 10 Summer Festival will run from Wednesday January 18 to Sunday January 22 and is a free and all ages event. For more information and the full program head to qagoma.qld.gov.au.
