Pop-punk trailblazers Blink-182 have announced that their ninth record, aptly titled Nine because apparently all the good album titles have already been used, will be released this September.
In an interview with NME earlier this year, bassist Mark Hoppus hinted that Nine would contain more experimental sounds than the group's more recent efforts, stating that "we are trying to experiment more... trying different sounds, and trying to expand upon what people think Blink 182 is."
Blink-182 have already offered fans a morsel of the pop-punk onslaught to come with early singles such as ‘Blame It On My Youth’ and ‘Happy Days,’ and they've also shared another newbie by the name of 'Darkside.' Check that one out below.
Nine arrives courtesy of Sony Music Australia on Friday September 20.
