The Peep Tempel captured fans with their sophomore album Tales in 2014. The critically acclaimed record saw them grab the ownership of a near-perfect punk record. Two years on, the local collective are finally ready to unveil what they’ve been working on.

Joy was written in their West Melbourne studio last summer and saw them collaborate with engineer Anna Laverty, to record and mix the album at Sing Sing Studios.

Vocalist and guitarist Blake Scott states, “With Joy, for the most part, is an exploration of the human state of mind. Human thought, is a pure and true chaos. We wanted the album to represent the full spectrum of that chaos. From the paranoid, yet elated Totality to the stark, isolated landscape of Constable.”

The Peep Tempel are heading across the country to celebrate their release in style this November.
