Alongside appearances at Bad Friday Weekender in Sydney and Tallarook’s Boogie festival, the hometown show is set to be one of the band’s final live appearances on the tour cycle behind last year’s Tasmania, which was also accompanied by a John Peel-inspired live album Sessions in November. It seems like there’s no rest for the fellas, however – bassist and keyboardist Jay Watson is set to embark on tour with Tame Impala next month, while the rest of the band’s members are set to bunker down in the studio to work on album number nine.
