PRS ANNOUNCE NEW JOHN MAYER SIGNATURE GUITAR

The Super Eagle II is a direct collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and Mayer, and is made to their specifications, including a 25.375” scale length; 58/15 JM treble and bass pickups; and a Narrowfield JM pickup in the middle position with three individual coil-tap switches. It also has a JCF Audio preamp with treble boost, and a hand signed letter in the f-hole of the guitar.

The new model also differs from the Super Eagle that Mayer has been playing on his most recent tour with the inclusion of a one-piece private stock curly maple back, an African blackwood fingerboard and headstock veneer, as well as a new colour – Hemp Green.

Unfortunately for the majority of fans the Private Stock Super Eagle II will be limited to 120 instruments, so don’t count on actually being able to purchase one.

PRS are distributed in Australia through Electric Factory.
