With 15 models included in the new range, the cymbals run the gamut from 10″ splashes to 23″ rides. The cymbals are given a distinct shape through a three step hammering process and have an extra thin shape designed to lend them a faster attack with just enough sustain.
The Special Dry collection have a unpolished ‘earthy’ appearance, and are described by the company as delivering a sound that is ‘dark, rich and dry’, designed to be able to handle many of the diverse sounds that modern music may require.
All of the cymbals in the K Custom Special Dry series are fashioned out of Zildjian’s 80/20 bronze secret alloy, and are manufactured in the USA.
