Check out Fender Japan’s new Heritage series

Released as a Japanese exclusive, the Made In Japan Heritage series aims to highlight the cream of the Fender crop between the 1950s and 1970s that helped shape the musical sounds we know and love today. The development of the series was spearheaded by the Fender Custom Shop’s own Mark Kendrick, who ensured that the pickup voicing, design and hardware of the series was as authentic as possible to create a truly compelling and historically accurate instrument range.

You can check out a behind the scenes glimpse of the creation of these new models in the video below.

Sticking true to Fender’s most coveted designs, the Heritage series offers a handful of Stratocasters, Telecasters and Precision and Jazz basses, as well as one awesome looking Jazzmaster. Unfortunately, these models are only a Japanese exclusive for now, but we’ll be keeping you updated if there’s any plans to bring them to Australian shores.
