After releasing their itinerary for NAMM 2022, OWC are showcasing new storage system upgrades that allow for fast transfer speed and reliability for audio professionals with workflows requiring high storage loads.

The OWC Envoy Pro Mini, a pocket-sized SSD with full-sized SSD performance, has the capacity for audio as well as general data and backup uses. This allows users to save, access, and share data from recording sessions with ease.

With USB and Thunderbolt (USB-C) connectivity, the OWC Envoy Pro Mini can work with any Mac, PC, iPad, Chromebook, Android, and Surface device made in the last 15 years. Additionally, this SSD is available in 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB capacity.

As well as this, OWC are delivering the OWC Flex 1U4 to users, a four-bay Thunderbolt storage and docking solution designed for rackmount workflows. With 2.5 or 3.5-inch SATA/SAS and U.2/M.2 NVMe drives in swappable drive bays, audio professionals can utilise a mix.

Also available is the OWC Thunderbolt Pro Dock, which allows users to send large amounts of audio in real-time with AVB 10Gb/s Ethernet. This device also includes the ability to ingest RAW photos at up to 1630MB/s with CFexpress and SD card readers, helping users see projects in the best detail possible with an 8K display.

The OWC miniStack STX has two configurable drives, making it easy to create a storage space for recording and playing tracks in real-time. You can also store entire loop and sample libraries on the NVMe SSD for near-zero latency.

OWC have also introduced the OWC Mercury Pro LTO, an easily integrated tape backup and archiving solution that can protect and preserve vast volumes of data for longer periods. Additionally available is the OWC Envoy Pro SX, which can be used as a drive for daily storage and backup tasks, and test-certifiable survivability for the harshest conditions.
