Nathaniel Rateliff and Young Henrys Team Up To Craft New Moonshine

nath.jpg

Hailing from Missouri, Nathaniel Rateliff has a really sentimental connection to the concept of moonshine. The incredibly alcoholic concoction harks back to America’s 1920’s prohibition, an amendment to the constitution that banned both the sale and consumption of the golden liquid. When dry times settled over Missouri, it opened the floodgates for a sea of bootlegged liquor. Suffice to say, ‘Nightsweat’ is truly a nostalgic homage to the Missouri of yesteryear.

‘Nightsweat’ moonshine is both created and distilled locally at Young Henrys in Newtown, Sydney. The concoction is made from malt and rye with a hint of chocolate. The batch is distilled a whopping three times to ensure that it’s a high purity spirit before it’s blended back with water to reach 40% alcohol content.

‘Nightsweat’ will be available for limited release on April 1 via Young Henrys official site and selected local bars.
