Listen to Ocean Alley’s new track ‘Tombstone’

The band’s third single for the year, ‘Tombstone’ was tracked up at The Grove Studios, with the band’s longtime friend and collaborator Callum Howe assuming production duties. With Baden Donegal’s lyrics lamenting the current climate crisis being paired with funk-rock groove seemingly plucked straight from Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Californication, ‘Tombstone’ sees Ocean Alley at their best. There’s harmonies galore, plenty of wah-wah and washed out keys, and an overall sense of bliss that just begs for it to grace the stage of a festival.

Never the ones to rest easy, Ocean Alley are set to trek around the country early next year for Laneway Festival with the likes of Charli XCX, The 1975, Earl Sweatshirt and many more. Here’s to hoping they find a minute to chill out and cut some more fresh tracks, huh?
