An adaptation of Bob Moog’s original Etherwave’s circuitry and aesthetic in the late ’90s, this new model is more portable, precise, and playable. With updated antenna connections that allow for a quick set-up and a quick release mic stand adapter, this release is perfect for the travelling beginner all the way to the theremin enthusiast.
In terms of its improvements to Moog’s original 1996 Etherwave design, this theremin model has a stronger bass response and increased stability in lower registers. There is also now a mute control to plug the instrument into standby mode, or to use “pitch preview” with headphones before performing out loud.
Also featured is CV output integration to Etherwave Plus, meaning that one can connect with modular, semi-modular, and Eurorack synthesisers.
